The food was amazing
it's expensive but the quality worth it. The only bad thing I found was that they don't have low sodium soy sauce.
I love how close this restaurant is to the OCADU campus and that it stays open till 11 am. However, I think the sushi doesn't taste as good as other restaurants in the vicinity, I'm not expert, just my opinion. To counter that, the prices are so student friendly and cheap, love it. Also how they prepare the sushi is amazing, it's done live right in front of you by an expert chef. Man I love the presentation.
Amazing sushi place near the AGO and downtown! All you can eat was delicious and made very well, the shrimp was beautiful. Dining area is small but cozy and quiet enough to have conversations. Will recommend to my friends!
Very nice people, if you are there for all you can eat, def try icecream lol!
Sushi is good but place is lacking cleaning and more variety. Staff was really friendly.
Salmon lovers special (b) was really good. Good quality salmon for the price!
Great selection of sushi, sashimi, rolls, bento boxes, etc at very reasonable prices. Fast service.
Really good. Bill was 58,74$ and we chose the all you can eat with a coke and a beer.
Great quality sushi, great service. The price is a little high but well worth the experience. I know the owner. Lovely lady. Lovely atmosphere for a business meeting or a date. Probably one of the best sushi places in downtown toronto in terms of atmosphere, quality, service and experience. Definitely recommended.
Excellent sushi, just the right meal after a great time at the AGO. If you are a vegetarian please try their box with Sweet Potato Glass Noodles - it is super yum! Their veggie tempura and agidashi tofu are very good.
This place was great. It’s cozy and very affordable (student friendly for sure). Cute family run restaurant in a convenient location. Sushi’s quality was perfect and they definitely put time and care into the food they put out. I come here regularly and it’s great everytime!
When you can barely fit the avocado sushi in your mouth, that’s a good thing. Small, delicious sushi joint.
I went here after the AGO and it was wonderful! Lots of good food for a great price, and the deep fried yam was sooooooooo good. Service was quick and there was a take out option. Recommended to a couple friends already, will continue to do so!
I usually don't use this app to give negative reviews, unfortunately today is one of those days, because even when the staff is very friendly the food is not good at all, fish wasn't fresh, it doesn't look nice and a weird texture.. please don't get me wrong some of the items were good e.g. the takoyakis and the spicy salmon. But the sashimi was terrible, the rolls 80% cucumber and almost No protein and a very plain presentation. I hope you can use this comment to make some improvements!
We came to this place looking for all-you-can-eat one, but this menu starts only at 4pm. We decided to stay and didn't regret at all. Regular menu prices are reasonable, sushi are very tasty and service overall is fine. Keep in mind that almost every bento box or set comes with miso soup and salad, so it's quite worth the money
Usual Japanese food, had tempura bento box. Enjoyed it. Staff nice and friendly
This is the place I always go to when I am in the AGO area. The food is clean and delicious and the restaurant is very homely.
Great place to go for sushi. Great deals for a great quality sushi. Best bbq eel I've had by far. Very cozy and warm. Love a family ran restaurant. Everything taste like it was made with love and care.
Great staff. Great service. Great food. Awesome experience overall!
Pretty good and great selection.l. however the device is slow but it was really. good and I know me and my friends weren't the best guests but they were nice about it. Ayce cost us 22 a person before tax on weekday dinner
The all-you-can-eat menu is missing many items, be sure to check that the ones you want are present before you select all-you-can-eat.
Went here for lunch and got the Salmon lovers Box B. The sushi wasn't too bad, but the server told us All You Can Eat was only available for the dinner menu and they gave the AYCE option to two other customers who came in after us.
We tried all you can eat menu and it was fresh and tasty. Their menu has three columns for 3 calls that you can have for all you can eat menu and was interesting and I liked it. The decoration is nice too and they tried to make a like an old Japanese house. Overall it was a good experience
Food was great, service was great, price is decent.
Consistent quality, good price. I have been a customer to Gallery Sushi for couple years now and they never disappointed me in these years. There are new sushi restaurant and ayce opens up in the area but Gallery Sushi never got replaced.
Terrible tasteless sushi I didn’t even finish my meal, that’s how bad it was. Two stars because the service was good.
We were asked what drinks we wanted, so I asked for water and tea, server asked to only pick one ( I was shocked) I asked if we can have both and she hesitantly said ok. Food is alright. Price recently went up. Only one server in the restaurant. At the end of our meal we had 3 rice sushi left over (only rice) and the server said to ensure not to order sushi next time if we are going to have a left over. Most likely will not come back.
A cozy, and quaint establishment, with a small seating area. The server was pleasant, kind, and a pleasure to talk to. When we entered the restaurant we were seated almost immediately. The reasons for four stars are there was very little ventilation to provide a cooler and more comfortable dining experience, as well as one or two of the dishes we ordered came out late, due to the fact there was only one server taking orders and serving customers - chalk it up it forgetfulness. When the server saw us fanning ourselves, she was kind enough to relocate us to a cooler table in the restaurant, which helped only slightly. The food was surprisingly delicious and fresh. I would definitely recommend this eatery for any lover or fan of Asian cuisine.
Can't comment on the all-you-can-eat, but their lunch quality and prices make this place a staple in my weekly routine. Sashimi is cut thick, glass noodles are very flavourful, and quality is always consistent. Big up to the owners for this one!
Decent ayce restraunt. food ok. Price for the ayce is good! 21.99 weekdays.
Save your money and time, they don’t have much on the menu and costumer service is horrible. We walked out it was so bad 👎🏻
Great food, staff and service.
not a bad one but if u want a upscale or perfect one, never go there. the service and environment is terrible.
Went for the all you can eat as it seemed reasonably priced. The service was great! The food was decent. Since the door was open, there were a lot of tiny flies all over our table. It became really annoying, but with no air conditioning, having the door open was a must. The washroom was a bit weird. The back of the restaurant also had an entrance which led to some sort of mall.
Great food and service. They don’t skimp on anything in their special rolls! All you can eat is well worth the price. Highly recommend
Pretty good lunch sushi. Lunch specials are a good value, especially the teriyaki/tempura Bento box. Service is great!
Fresh, fast pickup and very friendly service. A cute little place if you wanted to grab a quick bite. Prices are reasonable too.
The place is the typical small almost dingy sushi restaurant, but beyond the decor the food is actually quite wonderful. I always order the Spicy Sushi Box for lunch and its extremely good, along with random items I like to add on. The service is alright, they only have one waitress so I can only be so critical about the service. The one waitress is very kind and quick. It can be slow sometimes if you need her but again there is only one waitress. Overall, wonderful food and will be definitely coming back. A diamond in the rough.
Our go-to sushi place! Fresh, delicious food and affordable price.
Close to my work, always so friendly and will still make me my favorite combo from their old menu. They forgot my side soup today and while I didn't mind, they hand delivered it to me! Very sweet people and yummy yummy sushi. :)
Took 27 minutes for my first dish to arrive, and it was 3 overly soft takoyaki and 3 gyozas, and one of those gyozas were burnt. However, the other 2 gyozas were very well done, and the takoyaki had delicious fillings. Sushi were pretty fresh, and the sashimi were very well cut. Miso soup was alright, but the bowl had a small a small hint of soap. Overall pretty good. Also: excellent ice cream.
Really nice sushi place. The staff is really nice. We were here at least 3 times and always got great sushi and great service.
I've been so many sushi restaurants in Toronto. It is one of my favorites. It's just amazing. GOOD QUALITY. GOOD PRICE. I love this place.
Tiny familly sushi place...all you can eat...small menu but food is nummy no razzle but just plain good.
My go to place for all you can eat sushi. A small joint run by a family. Dinner menu is pretty good! Better than any other sushi places in the same area.
My boyfriend forced me to leave this review because he really likes this restaurant. But anyway BEST QUALITY of sushi and especially salmon and white tuna. Definitely worth every single penny
Great place to go to a AYCE, the sushi was tasty, the service was good, place not too big (it is a good thing for me) also not pricey, highly recommended.
